About Jeremy Burke

15 years of experience in building design, business operations, and analytical modeling.

My background

I studied architecture at Cornell and spent seven years in practice designing housing, education, and hospitality projects. Wanting to better understand the forces that shape cities and regions, I attended Harvard's Master in Design Engineering program, where I studied the systems behind urban and rural development.

After Harvard, I co-founded Aretian Urban Analytics and Design. I helped lead a team that delivered 27 projects around the world, focused on economic development, innovation districts, and urban systems. Clients included Massport, Tecnológico de Monterrey, the City of Barcelona, and NEOM's The Line in Saudi Arabia.

At Meridian XYZ, I build custom data solutions for clients and am developing a geospatial model of New York City to study the conditions behind successful and unsuccessful real estate development projects.

I am based in Brooklyn and work with clients across the United States.

How I work

I work with clients to define the problem, build the solution, and put the finished tools to use. I also document the data sources, assumptions, and limitations behind the results.
